If I submit with a business name, but my address is obviously a home (I lived in an apt), will there be any problems getting the rebate? Can I return the coffee is the rebate does not come? I'm planning to buy from Staples....

And has anyone successfully used rewards only to pay for it, and get the rebate?

I can answer 2 of your questions. Yes, I paid with rewards from staples, as well as used a coupon and received back full amount of coffee cost. I also has sent to my home apartment, no problem.

depends on the level of pigheadedness at your bank. you might have to cash the rebate check in person at the issuing institution.

I did it last year when the coffee was already free after rewards, I think at OM, paid for it with rewards, and got the rebate + rewards for about a $160 mm. Only problem was that I submitted it in the name of my business, so the check was payable to them. I ended up donating it to the non-profit I work for.

I may try this with my home address and just a made up Schedule C business name. Should be able to deposit in my personal account.

Do you really need to mail in the packing slip? My Folgers came without a packing slip or invoice!!! I ordered from Staples... Is it alright to just print off the receipt from the website? The damn Staples order also lists it as COFFEE, FOLGERS, GRT SPR, BR... is that sufficient details for a claim?

Would using my name with "Inc." added to it (a) suffice as a business name and (b) allow me to deposit it at a bank?

Depends on how fussy your bank is. Try using LLC.

2 rebate checks arrived today after doing the folgers / millstone offer. Bought from Staples, so that was a good chunk of my premier spend for 2013. Used rewards and got the full amount.
