Photoshop Elements 11, $49.99 on Amazon!

From past experience, two computers. They track them carefully and require that you uninstall from a computer before installing on any other past the two. On the other hand, my laptop crashed for good and I kept stalling off the process of contacting them for help thinking it would be a big pain. I did via chat though, took less than five minutes ... piece of cake.

I use v.10 on a daily basis for all types of graphics projects...I love it! Lots of freebie brushes, fonts, patterns and such out there to take you even further!

I've done photo editing in PhotoShop in the past, but don't need ALL the bells and whistles PS offers. How well does Elements approximate the PS Layers > Adjustment Layers options available in PhotoShop?

I'm playing with a trial version right now and can find saturation and levels controls that are equivalent to PS, but can't seem to control color balance like I'm used to.

Yeah I suspect Amazon will have a deal at some point on or around BF for the bundle (Photoshop Elements + Premiere Elements) so I am not opening my copy of Photoshop Elements until then.

Has actually been this price for a few days now. Pretty sure someone already posted it.

Hoping Newegg will match---ever since Amazon started collecting PA sales tax, Newegg has taken on increased importance to me as a retail state sales tax shelter.

FYI Costco also has this price, both online and instore. Their "version" includes some free scrapbooking software, and a bunch of free 4x6 photo printing.
