Your guitar will actually come with a standard 1/4" audio cable to connect the amp and guitar (comes in the bag), but as the OP has suggested, best to purchase a quality cable. It will work temporarily until you find a slick deal.

The amp might come with one. Mine just came in the mail today... I'll unbox it and check.

Edit: I unboxed it. No 1/4" cable. Not to worry... still one that comes w/ the guitar. Man, this amp is NICE!

FedEx just delivered mine. I'm a total noob when it comes to guitar but here are some of my observations. The body of the guitar feels and looks beautiful and solid. The beige plastic parts on the front of the guitar look and feel cheap. I don't know why they can't spend a few more cents on this to make it look decent. The plate - located on the lower front - looks especially bad; it has noticeable small bubbles and scratches. Is this normally expected? Can I get better quality pieces to replace these?

I see a serial number but there's no model number. How do I make sure that I have the correct model? Other than tuning, are there any adjustments I need to make before I start practicing? I have powered PA speakers, can I plug my guitar in there and use it temporary or not? Thanks a bunch.
