The one back in stock is a different item number fwiw, don't know if there's a difference but I'm curious.
Received mine today and very happy with the purchase, beautiful guitar. As another mentioned the small guard/plate was slightly scuffed/scratched but otherwise in seemingly perfect condition. Not sure if I complained if they'd send me one in better shape.
Was hard to decide which color I wanted; went with the honeyburst but the black looks very nice as well.
or just an email saying "your order had been processed and will leave the warehouse in 1 to 2 business days or even sooner"
i bought mine weds morning California time and still nothing...
i also didnt get a call saying it was out of stock or an email to the same effect
I received my shipping email after I got the guitar.
Question for those who received it. Is the scratch plate look crappy?

Sorry to hear it Nuke, I got my tracking number just hours after I ordered on Thurs. Received on Sat.
Yes, the only problem with my guitar was slight damage to the plate.
Damages? I'm not talking about damages. The pickguard plastic seems to be made of crappy material. I'm asking because I want to determine if mine is defective because it seems like no one else complained about this.
Update: Okay, I figured out why it the pickguard plate looked so crappy and dull - there's a protective plastic over it. After I removed the plastic it looked a lot better but apparently there are still scratches which the plastic couldn't protect. Now the trim pieces around the pickups look dull compare to the plate and I can't seem to peel it off. It would be great if the trim pieces can look like the trim around the perimeter of the guitar. These pieces must have been through a lot before they get installed.
alright i was dreading calling WMS about my order thinking they had back ordered the guitar and if i called they would not fulfill the purchase since the 7000 is now under a different sku on the site.
but i finally called them a few min ago and it SHIPPED on the 15th and they gave me my tracking number. Sucks that i couldnt get in 2 days after ordering but as long as its on it way. I will also inspect the pickguard... if its scratched up ill call up to see if they can send a replacement.
I ordered a black one and received one in honey burst. Two area in the gig bag was cover with glue, took me about ten minutes to clean but not a big deal. As people mentioned, the pick guard is not in perfect condition but again this is not bad. Now my concern are those fine cracking lines all over both of the pickups. Don't know if I should just get the black one as I initially ordered?
