If you pay attention to Ebay they can be had alot of the time for $210-220.00 quite often. Some times if I am short on supply I will pick them up on there.

Amazon is also an authorized reseller according to DeWalt's website. If someone needs a drill now, this is a good deal for a solid combo IMO.

The torture I put that thing through I will never forgive myself for. Now, I need to replace it and I'm debating between this and a high end Bosch set. Anyone have experience with the Bosch cordless drills/impacts?

This is an impact driver not an impact wrench. While this will certainly put out serious torque for what it is, it would not be the right tool for the job (at least not what I would use). An electric or better yet, pneumatic impact wrench would definitely be the way to go for auto lug nuts.

This DeWalt impact driver is generally intended more for driving large screws, lag bolts, and nut/bolts tightened to less than automotive lug nut torque.

I like everything about this kit except for one thing, it is listed as a 20v. It is really just a diff. designed 18v. They sell this in the UK and Europe as an 18v. It is well worth the money for sure. I have so many non slide-in DeWalt 18v power tools, the price would have been a very good one. But again, this is the "20"v, and all the ones I have are 18v.
If you don't have a set yet, or are not as invested in the original battery design power tools by DeWalt, this is a great start. Only down side is if you don't need a hammer drill, it might be better to go with a regular drill combo as the hammer drills are usually heavier and more bulky.

Will it? For most cars, yes. I've seen it done with an older DC825, and the impact in this kit has even more torque than that model (this one has a max of 117 ft-lbs).

But as previously posted, its not the right tool for the job. It'll probably work, but in the long run it'll take its toll on the drill, not to mention you'll probably snap a few bits in half along the way.

I don't think I suck.
