i like nex5n a bunch. the op deal is good with sony emount 55-210. even with its slow apperture it is a light lens that will add much range with good autofocus and for sure sony steady shot to support the range. nice bundle extra stuff to enter nex5n

$739 is a great price!

The 55-200 lens alone retails for $349 (haven't seen any discounts for this) and BuyDig just had the 5n with the 18-55 kit lens for $430. So you are getting the 55-200 at $50 discount and a whole bunch of free goodies.

I jumped on the $430 deal earlier and my 5n is still in transit. Wondering if BuyDig will honor this deal for me... Going to call them in the morning and find out.

I just want that 18-55 kit for $430. I don't need the longer lens, I just wanted a good deal on the basic 5N kit! Grr!

I'd be willing to buy the kit and then sell everything else that isn't the 5N body and 18-55 lens for $309, the difference between the two kit prices.

Already got the $430 kit deal, but rather than using the kit 18-55 (SEL1855 ) and tele 55-200 lens (SEL55210), I would sell both of them, add some $$$, and buy the 18-200 lens (SEL18200LE) instead. That lens is amazing for all-around use, sharper than kit, and all black with 5N body. Alternatively, you can go with the newly released prime SEL35F18 lens. These lens should last you a long time if you plan to stay with Sony NEX bodies in years to come.

The 18-200 is a versatile lens though it's understandably bulky compared to the 18-55mm kit lens. The Sony 35mm f1.8 OSS is good choice if you need a normal lens.
