Bought these

55" LG 120hz (EDGE LIT) LED $699
47" LG 60hz 3D LCD $399

Total around $1100 before taxes. These will work great for my business. I love Frys.

I'm guessing there's no chance a 55" will fit in a Volvo S80?

2 different models the ls4500 is a edge lit the ls4600 is backlit. Not too familiar with the difference but not sure if the 2 are that similar

Is that TV return policy for items that are shipped to you? If you pick up a TV larger than 24" in store, are you able to return it?

Some people on other Fry's threads have commented that they were able to return within 30 days without any hassles.

Thank you,Back lit displays produce better picture quality compared to Edge Lit. But this difference is not noticeable for general picture viewing.

Took the ad to Sears and they price matched it. They also took 10% off the difference between the $699 and their price. Not bad at all. Discover also has 10% cash back for Sears.

I got this TV yesterday. There doesn't seem to be much support available online about this, including a detailed manual.
Anyway, I found that old LG models could "play movies" directly from a USB. This one just gives 2 options: "play music" and "photos". It would have been nicer to have the movie option as well.
Anyone know if we should upgrade the firmware on this? On Lg's website, the firmware date seems to be 10/25/2012. I am not sure what firmware this is and/or what "upgrades" we would actually get.

I have a Sony where you can turn something similar to TruMotion off. I think mine has Motion view (or something like that) and Cinema View (or something like that). You can turn one on or off and for the other one, you can make is slightly on, more on, or off.

Can you confirm if you can turn the TruMotion off or on?

I believe Sony's motion interpolation system is called Motion Flow...and it can be turned off in the TV's menu...its usually...depending on the age of your TV...has 3-4 different settings

I think LG's Tru motion does as well

Not sure I have ever seen anyone that owns a TV with motion interpolation have it on at least the lowest setting
