There's being frugal, and there's being obnoxiously cheap, please learn the difference. Also if you find yourself getting into heated arguments online about things like lossless audio, re-assess your life.

Yeah, but how often does a movie get rereleased? Not that frequently. I care more about the content of the movie than the visual representation; what is weird to me that someone would imply that a movie's worth is determined by the visuals. Sure, I want them looking as good as possible, but if it got a sh** job of a transfer, I can't see waiting and hoping it gets a better one down the road. To each his own, I guess, but that seems absurd to me. Like I wouldn't pay for Prometheus brand new because it wasn't a good movie; I couldn't care less what it looked like.
