Honeywell 42" LED HDTV 120Hz, $339.99AC or less shipped at TD

Ok got the TV and set it up. Manual says it is 29.8 lbs without base. You need M6 screws, I got M6 - 1.00 x 25 screws from Lowes fit perfect, do not go any longer then that.

Energy guide is $24 per year based on 11 cents/kw.

First impressions is very positive, great picture, the TV is actually pretty thin, I was afraid it will be 5-6 inches thick but it is 1.5 inches without stand. I did not adjust anything yet just hang it on the wall and watching whatever Blue ray movie we had.

So far I think good deal IMHO.

Anyway to tell what brand of screen used in it without disassembling it?

The Tv is perfectly mountable. My unit was either damaged during shipping or production. Anyway I shipped mine back. The picture was perfect even with slight bend.

After Cyber monday I am more confident this is good price, all amazon could offer was 40" Westinghouse for $299, which I did not get. For the price I think this is a good TV.

So the M6 screw, is it for the mount-to-TV screw or the mount-to-wall screw? Do you have any pointers as to how to attach the tv to the wall? You need at least two people to do it right?

M6 is Tv to wall mount screws. The wall mount should come with screws for wall. Make sure you find studs and attach wall mount to studs. You will need two people for sure.
I did not get the new one yet, just mailed the old one today. Kids were out of school for Thanksgiving break so I kept it longer to watch some movies together on big screen:-)

My apartment wall is concrete so I don't need to worry about studs right? Also what size of drill bits did you use to drill the wall? Or that also depends on the mount you bought right?

None. No reply after I asked about the price reduction. I am going to call them once I go home. What about you pseudoswede any updates? Did you receive a new unit? Also, were you able to verify if the TV is suitable for mounting?

For concrete walls you might need hammer drill and some special screws. Lowes sells Tapcon screws just for that they sell kits which comes with screws and the drill bit . You might use regular drill but it will take some time to drill holes. Maybe easier to use stand.

It is now $249 after rebate.

Maybe they will do return rebuy.

Second unit arrived a few days ago. Finally had time to open it today. Decided to feel the corners before taking it out of the box. This time, it's the right-upper corner that's chipped off.
