42", 1080p, 120hz, and $340, this is cheaper than ALL blackfriday deals for over 40", so what is the huge downside?
is it the brand? warranty? can someone please screw my head on straight ! |

Almost ALL TVs' "PC port" would only do lower resolution, if you want 1080p on PC, use HDMI or DVI->HDMI !!!!
This question/problem has been asked so many times and has been the source of dumb negative reviews of so many TVs... If I am designing a TV I'd simply get rid of the stupid D-sub, it does nobody any good.

1 thing i noticed is that this tv weighs 50 lbs, whereas a 46" samsung weighs closer to 25 lbs. so its hella heavy. not sure if there's other things i'm not noticing or dont know to look for. |

Ok got the TV and set it up. Manual says it is 29.8 lbs without base. You need M6 screws, I got M6 - 1.00 x 25 screws from Lowes fit perfect, do not go any longer then that.
Energy guide is $24 per year based on 11 cents/kw. First impressions is very positive, great picture, the TV is actually pretty thin, I was afraid it will be 5-6 inches thick but it is 1.5 inches without stand. I did not adjust anything yet just hang it on the wall and watching whatever Blue ray movie we had. So far I think good deal IMHO. Anyway to tell what brand of screen used in it without disassembling it? |
