So, I did this and two years later...an automatic auto-renew. They are charging me their lowest price of 14.99 per year and they decided that they would renew that for three years! Lucky me! So, if they do pull this on you after the first year you might want to state on the phone that you wish NOT to auto-renew. I didn't and now I have to haggle with them after the fact.

It pretty clearly states when you sign up for ESPN Insider from the magazine that it auto-renews so you have to keep on top of it.

Get the first magazine. Look at the ESN number.

Go to Insider. Punch in your ESN number.

okay now i see it... how many years can i get? i already had 1.5 years left just purchased 4 years... can i add another for $1 for a total of 6.5 years???
EDIT: I ended up just adding a the extra year for $1, can't be beat!

FYI to all worried about the auto renew, if you call them as soon as you see the CC charge they're usually good about refunding it.
