First they couldnt find Note 2, then they found it but wouldnt lower.
BUT they credited me 6 months of free unlimited texting and made my account eligible for upgrade 3 months early.
$180 credit to my account = Phone $120.
Didn't order it yet, i'm going to call back and try to get it for $199.
thats wht i did as the above poster. I have fam unlimited texting for $30. so initially they wouldnt give me the phone; however offered me to make the unlimited feature free for 6 months (saved $180). then i called the next day to give it a shot again and one of the CSR's in the retention department agreed to give the phone to me for $212 including everything. so basically in the long run I got the phone for $30.
I called AT&T twice and spoke with the customer service rep(not the retention dept) and both times they said that they cant find the phone in the system and cant order it for me.. anybody else have that problem? if not how did you guys talk to them?
They gave me the same answer. Don't call CS, just call the retention center. Tell them I am offered a better price with 'blah' company with 2 year contract, I thought of calling you guys if you could match the price before I switch and trust me they would do it for
