Anyone have an idea of the input lag on this monitor? I keep seeing mixed reviews
The consensus among the 3D vision community is that this is one of worse when it comes to input lag. Manufacturer's claim about response time is worthless because there is no measurement standard among the OEMs.
Can anyone confirm that the DVI cable included with this monitor will be sufficient for 120hz? I'm reading that you can't get 120hz over HDMI.
Correct, HDMI cannot take 120hz signals. This monitor does come with a dual-link DVI cable, which is the only way the monitor can display 120hz (DisplayPort will also work at 120hz, but this monitor doesn't have it).
And yes, this monitor WILL work with AMD cards (at 120hz, if your card/computer can support it), it just won't work with AMD's 3D tech.

I asked a friend who bought one a few months ago. I also looked on several forums and didn't see anything suggesting that the included cable is anything other than dual-link. Not to mention the fact that Acer can't be that stupid... right?
-If I wanted to play say... Black Ops II 3D or Killzone 3 on my xbox or ps3, would this monitor be suitable? I read the posts that say HDMI can't do 120 Hz so for console gaming purposes that feature is null and void no? How about 3D console gaming?
