Output is only 1 amp. Don't plan on charging your iPad (or any other 2A device) with this.

Yeah, 1 amp isn't enough (for future proofing) unfortunately. I was thinking that it'd be good in emergencies, but unfortunately just not enough of everything.

In for one! I have been looking for a fairly inexpensive backup power source for my phone while on the go and this fits the bill perfectly!
 Too but it can not charge my iPad (even though it is officially supported by the manufacturer lol), but at $13 with 2 day ShopRunner shipping, I can't complain. Thanks OP!

If you're looking for something more compact, check out this [costco.com] one at Costco for about the same price with no rebates, though it's about half the capacity.

Not very good... my 2700mAH one does about 50% charge on my LG Optimus V/S, which doesn't really have a very big battery. It's worth it to have something as an emergency backup though. Last edited by Qidnif; 11-13-2012 at 10:07 PM.. |

Last weekend the battery of my phone died before I finished a marathon. Thanks to this deal now I don't have to train to finish up the next marathon with a faster time!

These will charge your ipad if you turn the ipad off, it will just be slow.
