Refurb Logitech Driving Force™ GT RB-941-000020X PS3/PS2 Gaming Wheel - Force Feedback, 900-degree Wheel Rotation, 11" Ruber-Overmold Rim, Pedals, Sequential Stick Shift $60

I bought this wheel about two years ago refurb for around $75. It works great and never had a problem with it. The feel of the wheel and pedals are very realistic. I constructed a stand out of scrap 2x4's and a small piece of plywood to mount the unit to. Without the stand it is difficult to use the wheel in your lap. Also use this for the Nascar vid games.

I had this wheel but recently upgraded to a g27.
both great wheels!

use a cheap laptop stand from staples/office depot. remove the top (or rather dont install the mdf top) and you get a perfect wheel stand that is height adjustable.

I use mine with a htpc to play dirt 2,F1 etc.

My Dad cut out a piece of plywood for me to mount on a chair that I sit in, and we glued some padding on the bottom of the arms so it doesn't scratch the chair. You can secure the plywood to the chair with velcro straps, and that's an inexpensive way to secure the wheel to play and have fun.

Or you can spend $175 or more for some of the manufactured wheel/pedal mounts. That's a little much for me, so we resorted to the inexpensive versions.

Just a tip for anyone with hardwood floors. The pedals do slide on the hardwood some while driving, so I went to the hardware store and picked up a roll of rubber liner similar to this...http://www.amazon.com/Grip-Shelf-...B000KFSOFI

I cut out a piece large enough to go under the pedals and they stay in place much better.

How did you like it compared to the G27? I have a G27, but my brother said there's no way he's paying $200. ( seemed like a pretty good deal to me ) for a wheel, so would it be worth it for $60. for him to get the DFGT?

If only this had a 6 speed and a clutch...

Gosh, SD got me thinking this morning. Should I buy the refurb ipod touch for GF as gift? Or this with my GT5 game? Been wanting to get a wheel like this. $50 seems to be a great price just not sure about the refurb quality. Any comments?
