In 4 one.
Will definitely come in handy. Have a couple of Moto Droids and Atrix 4G in the house and a Droid-on-a-stick enroute.

How does his work with games? Angry Birds etc? Figure the kids could use it if nothing else.

Thanks!

I guess no. You need a hdmi and a usb to make it work.
Now I'm sad that my phone doesn't have an HDMI out Frown

Yes, with a 10 min mod.

While the video should work just find on any Android (any phone really) with HDMI out capabilities the key issue for at least Samsung phones is the single point of connection for USB host (for keyboard and mouse) and HDMI out via MHL.

Can this be used with any Android phone running ICS, I have a GAlaxy S3 and about to get the Note 2?

I also need to know if Wirefly will give me any crap if I switch the phone to a different line. Any ideas? I am with Sprint BTW
The screen will work with an S3 but keyboard will not. The connector turns off the USB capability when it's in HDMI mode so you will need an additional blue tooth keyboard/mouse. I see some S3 connectors on Ebay that have HDMI and USB but I think the USB is for charging only, not data, but not entirely sure. Regardless, even if the cable carried data the phone won't transmit any.

No touchscreen. So I don't think it's good for angry birds.

Too bad it won't work with my Samsung S Frown

Supposedly they made one, but I no longer see it for sale. -- http://www.ubergizmo.com/2010/07/...usb-cable/

I searched for "Samsung 959 MHL" on ebay ... nothing

The S2 and S3 have HDMI out, but like others have said, the keyboard probably won't work.

Even if I am disappointed with the webtop and my Atrix 4G, I was thinking this would make a nice little secondary display for my home theater receiver. That way, I don't have to turn on the projector to see the menus, etc. Probably come in handy when streaming audio from Pandora, or from my PC.

Don't know if you guys can still find this mother @RadioShark. Quote from that XDA guy.

"For all in the USA that want a lapdock.

The Radio Shack SKU is 1706310. Call your nearest Radio Shack and they can look up the SKU to see who has it near you. If there is not one near you, they will ship from another store, to your nearet store AT NO ADDITIONAL COST. $19.97 + tax.

I have fully tested CM10 with denisty 120 and the Atrix in Tablet mode works flawlessly so far."

I snagged one a while ago for that much.
