Got both TP and IS at store. Used 20% and $5 off without problem. So my questions.

1. What are the rebate offer number for TP and IS? Can they be pre-submitted?
2. Do both TP and IS come with $20 visa card offer? I know the limit is 5.

Btw, I notice when I checked out, the registry does send some activation info. I guess it's the sticker serial number on the box.

I bought the Total Protection 1 user the other day with the $5 off and ended up going back earlier today to grab the Total Protection 3 user using a 20% off coupon

Came out to $57.59 + tax and expecting a $57 rebate check from McAfee plus the $20 GC for Always On promo

This time I decided to try the $20 rebate without registering the product and it worked -- got a confirmation email a few minutes later and tracking website shows "Your rebate is valid and is scheduled for final processing."

Presubmitted the $57 rebate -- will mail it out on Monday

Don't forget that the 11/30 20% off coupons might work until that date. It may call for a mgr override but they may honor them...YMMV for sure but worth a shot.

If I get the $20 rebate and the Staples one, this will be a $13.74 MM for me.

Be careful, Mcafee rebate is one per product title regardless of offer # or period. I'm not sure if they consider the 1-user different product from the 3-user.

Btw, can you still use the key to install the software under different name?

I got rebates for bot the McAfee 2012 Internet Security 1 User and McAfee 2012 Internet Security 3 User early this year for Staples purchase.

Apparently the UPC is not in REBATESHQ system for this rebate, so submissions are being denied. But they will take care of it if you chat with them.

I got mine yesterday, fastest rebate ever and that is incredible considering that its coming from Mcafee.
