All My Unused Netflix are Invalid

I applied a NF code to my mom's (already existing) Netflix account. She had the streaming and DVD plans already. The "gift balance" is actually being applied to BOTH subscriptions. So she's saving $19.98/month (she has the $11.99 2-DVD plan), but obviously the balance will only last about half as long as it would for streaming only:

Yeah I want to know if it will work doing disc only as there isn't much more streaming I need to do.

That was just some glitch in their system.. they said they will fix it, nothing related to this credit. They give me a month free because of that.. Only 1 dvd has shipped so far.. I might need to call them again.

Btw, is there a way to put an account on hold. I got 2 accounts from this and want to put one on hold till I finish up the credit on the other one.

I don't know if you can put an account on hold or not. Maybe - it makes sense that they would allow that. Otherwise people would just cancel service, and Netflix could risk having them not sign back up. Since there are no contracts, there is no reason not to allow account holds.

However, I would say it could be risky to use that on these promo codes being applied. It's very likely it could raise a red flag. But, if it's not helping you anyway, with two free simultaneous accounts, you have nothing to lose.
