My personal opinion on this drive from about 3 years exp building/imaging and supporting Dell laptops:
TRASH! I was a Dell employee for a while doing desktop support and building/imaging support for a giant hospital network in Austin and I swear I had dozens upon dozens of these types of drives fail and all data was lost. Since I was laid off by Dell a few months ago I have no new experience but the new laptops we get (I work for the hospital now that I was supporting as a Dell employee) have SSD drives. Again, my two cents on Scorpio blue drives. EDIT: same thing in the review is what happened to laptop I supported. Drive would just click and no boot. |

My personal opinion on this drive from using it in about 20 PS3's I updated.
AWESOME Have not had a complaint on a single unit yet and some of the guys I sold the modified ps3's to are heavy gamers. Opinions are like noses...everyone has one... |

I have installed this drive 3 times in Xbox 360's now and all without any issues, drive is working fast and quiet..

I want to change the hard drive on my Lenovo Thinkpad X61. The device manager says the hard drive is ST980817AS ATA device. Will this HD be compatible with the laptop? Thank you.
