Instead of getting 2, I got one of these and 1 of the Kershaw Leek knives. Serrated.

My kershaw collection
1 speedform II 2 scallion 1 chive 1 chill 4 skylines 1 lfk 2 mini carabiners 1 cryo While the cryo is made oversea, it has the same fit and finish as USA made knives. While the cryo is a good looking blade and i was initially excited to get it....DONT... i find it much too heavy and bulky. I have to force myself to edc it. Chill or skyline is the way to go cheap and quality (scallion/chives are too pretty to be used

On the topic of kershaw knives. I would love to see the Skyline brought back down to the $25 mark. It's probably the best EDC knife I've found so far. But I'm looking forward to trying out one of these Cryo's. |

Knives just arrived. I like them but am a bit new to the knife owning club, so handling these is just a reminder of how awkward I've always felt about the closing method/mechanism on folders. It's like I'm going to cut off my fingers attempting to close the thing. Am I the only one that thinks it's amazingly dangerous to require you to put your fingers directly in harms way to close a knife? I'll need some practice...
Any current owners have any tips, and could possibly advise on how easily this has opened unintentionally (in pocket or otherwise)? |

Computer science? Unless you get into Fortune500, you're more likely to be 40k. Back to knives, I got a cryo and a leek. Can't wait! Want to add that wherever you got that list from, probably also provides the 'prevailing wage' numbers for technicians and specialist. ie: A typical technician/installer gets paid $15/hr on most jobs, but when we deal with city/federal projects, they have to be paid prevailing wages. Which is anywhere from 25 to 35/hr. Its not common. Last edited by raionz; 11-16-2012 at 09:15 AM.. |

cryo 4.2 oz full steel construction and frame lock, also i find it much hard to deploy than my other assisted opening kershaws (sharp edge on the flipper doesnt help) Skyline 2.4oz has one steel liner + g10 liner (liner lock; the flipper is nice and rounded. oh yea as for width, theyre the same, had to put it side to side right now lol (could have sworn the cryo was thicker but guess thats what solid steel makes you think) picture from left to right speedform 2, skyline cryo, chill, scallion, chive (ask for more pics if you want )
