I had the same ? over the last day or 2...bc im looking for a cheap PMP/mp3/audiobook player that has ICS on it..

did some checking on the web... and found some decent videos on youtube showing it in action and some info on it via the android forums... I think I found 3 very decent videos on there

youtube search: pmid4311, polaroid 4.3, emerson em543

---- so I went and picked one up today at 48 plus tax at biglots bc I had to see for myself how good or bad it really was...got 30 days to return it...so nothing to lose really.. and if I decide to keep it I will by by biglots on black friday anyways so Ill buy another one at $44 price and return the $48 one... or return rebuy... whichever works... I didnt want to not be able to get one on blackfriday if they sell out all bc of 4 bucks price difference...

so far it has been better than expected.. took everything I threw at it...games apps various video formats (using bsplayer - the stock player played some and didnt play others...and funny thing it played some mp4s and didnt play others... but bs player or dice player plays everything nicely) sound is decent with or without headphones...even on some low bitrate songs I tried...was very useable IMO... I like the overall design and the screen is VERY responsive... cheap budget capacitive screens have come along way I guess...wifi signal was good, got over 5 hours of constant heavy use with brightness set to highest setting... would expect 6 hours for more normal use and maybe 8-9 if you really are battery saving conscious...

my only 2 complaints (besides no bluetooth)
the screen resolution really lets you down and the colors and screen isnt as sharp as compared to others with the same resolution.. I would say its below average...but for basic teenager video/movie use...its useable and for the price and the fact that the screen is very responsive...its something I think most can live with for the budget tablet PMP category

the other is I notice some watermarking/wave/screen ripple at the edges when pressing firmly on the hard buttons..and a few times when pressing hard on the screen.....its not too bad... and only when the screen colors are darker and you are pressing very firmly.. most people wont even notice it... but ive seen it before and I noticed it bc I was looking for it when testing everything out... not dealbreaker by any means...

For anyone interested, I went to Big Lots and took some demo videos of each of the 4.3" Android devices. Here is the one for the Emerson.
