generally the tools in makita combo kits are the lower end or mid range ones. the difference between your impact drive and the OPs are the 3 variable speed switches which allow you to use the impact drive for even fragile work

The Home Depot store I bought them from had 4 more at $194. the free battery promo applies so you end up getting a great deal for this excellent impact driver.
