Or had amazon gift cards he wanted to use. If Amazon would PM to 50 I would pick up 3 cause I have that much in Amazon gift cards lying around that were essentially free.
"just"? as in can still refuse delivery?
btw- 74 was a bad price. its been 69 and 59 from newegg in the past, so the only reason as a slickdealer to pay a $74 price was because you needed it right then, and if thats the case, you lost nothing. If you didnt need it right then you had no business buying it at that price...as a slickdealer.
I'm impressed with Newegg's packaging. They are actually packaged better than the retail drives. I ordered these drives from them before, and they would just wrapped the drives in big bubble wraps and throw all of them into a big box. The drives tends to bounce around which could lead to bad drives.
I plan to use this to migrate to w8 on a Lenovo lappy a bought a few months ago. I've got the 15 dollar upgrade on a usb drive. Plan is to clone my 320 gb drive with W7 to this drive, expand the partition to 500 by erasing Lenovo's one touch partition at the end of the partition string (which I have read does not work after a W8 upgrade), then run the update usb. Then hold onto the original 320 drive as is as a backup, in case the update doesn't work, new drive crashes or W8 sucks.
Anybody see any issues with this? I like the youtube video showing booting in 10 seconds in W8 with the 750gb/8gb flash XT version, I assume the boot should be about the same with the 4gb, and the faster drive spin speed should bump things up a notch too...

yeah i think the speeds from the benchmark software kind of put some doubt in my mind to pull trigger. Plus I get taxed. im in cali. I think SSD will be very affordable come beginning of year so I'll pass on this.
I bought a Samsung NP305E5A-A05US back in late July from Cowboom, pre-owned. Had one of these drives in it, OEM version. Failed just a few days ago. Might consider it because of the Iron Egg guarantee they have going on right now if I wasn't already owed one back under warranty.
