UPDATE: No rebate necessary now as it's $60.

link [newegg.com]

The included RAM is $40 if you were to purchase it, so (and it gets 5 Eggs with 1,062 reviews so it's not junk), so for an extra $20 you get a MB/CPU combo...

$10 rebate link [newegg.com]

I didn't see this posted (and "yes" I searched).

This is obviously for HTPC (more XBMC / OpenELEC [openelec.tv] I'm not sure about Netflix or HULU), MAME or "grandma" use, but it's a good start for a low-power usage client. The DOA reviews concern me a little, but there are many NewEgg reviewers that shouldn't be doing anything with computers, so I'll take a chance on this.

I tried to access netflix in XBMC, but it takes me to NetFlix website. What version of XBMC are you using? Do you have a repository for NetFlix? I can't get NetFlix run on my media center. Thanks.
I'm not running XBMC......sorry can't help. I'm just using this thing as you would any computer running Win7.

Hi, I could use some help from those of you who bought this along with this case:
http://www.amazon.com/MI-008-Towe...ywords=itx

-Can someone explain to me what kind of sata plugs the board has versus the sata extensions that come from the case? They don't seem to connect.

-Also, is the 4 pin power plug the only power cable from the case to the mobo necessary? I don't see one that fits the 24pin power...

-Lastly, what do I need to connect this mobo to an old school hard drive? I think its IDE or something. Some kind of adapter??

Thanks for the patience guys. It's my first time building one! Any help is so much appreciated!!

I bought this case also... There are no sata connectors on it. Just USB and audio.
The majority of the connections are on the motherboard backplate

The board has a 20+4 atx power connector. you need to connect both that and the 4 4pin power connector, a total of 28 wires plus power swich, hdd led, and power led.

This board has 3SATA connections to connect SATA hard drives, SATA DVD burners, or SATA Solid State Drives. You will need a standard adapter to run IDE, or you could just boot off a USB drive.[/B]

I just bought a few IDE to SATA adatpers. They are cheap so I don't know how well they will work. You can do a web and/or eBay search and find lots of them from $3 and up.
