I have had similar experience. Somehow their automated system rejected my transaction and I got an email "please call xxxxxxxxxx". OK so I called them to clear the transaction. Then the lady over the phone told me "We need you to send/fax us your utility bill for address verification" BS. And I especially hate her tone that like I stole a credit card or something.

It's not about money. It's about service.

Never went back again. Not worth the hassle.

Basically Virgin Mobile doesn't want anyone to buy their calling cards without Virgin Mobile itself as the retailer. They are trying to make it as unprofitable as possible to other merchants in carrying their cards. Most VM people have dropped CallingMart as a source and have switched to buying the digital topup cards from Walmart's site, since they still don't charge tax on them.
