I loved OMD1 as it was a great game to play single-player to 20 mins here and there when needed. OMD2 ends that. The game was built on the assumption there'd be two players.
The first half of the game is easy enough to beat alone---but the second half is near impossible to beat alone. Again--you HAVE to have someone else to play with or it will be difficult near the end. Even with lowering the difficulty, I was still unable to beat it alone.
The game is practically identical to OMD1. The music is mostly recycled with a few new tracks. Graphics remain the same but that is expected. Story is a bit weaker than the 1st one.
ALSO, I got the Orcs Must Die 2 "Complete" pack, BUT THIS DOES NOT INCLUDE THE NEWEST DLC. They released a new DLC 3 days after I got this. It seems they are really gonna nickel and dime this game with DLC.
Orcs Must Die 1 was great--but I'd personally pass on Orcs Must Die 2. It just didn't.
Again just remember--if you buy the Orcs Must Die 2 Complete--you will not get ALL AVAILABLE DLC. You will still have to buy the newest one for $3.75.
I emailed Robot about this--to which they didn't respond. Personally won't buy games from them again.
Edit 1: Also--there is no matchmaking service--you are only able to invite friends who also have the game to join your party.
