Ingress is the augmented reality app that ties in with the Niantic Project conspiracy. Its supposed to be confusing, its a mystery / detective game.

Setup my codename as lunger, haven't finished training yet, so I did not pick a side. But will update here when I have done so. Hey, so more people see this, please uptick the votes, as I think it should get as much visibility as it can because its worth it. Told my three young girls that they are going to help me save the world! Not sure they get it yet...

Well, but thats how Google does everything if you think about it. They give you a really great / cool service or technology in exchange for a way for them to make money. That doesn't bother me, its like by me participating, I am helping job creation and I get great things for free or close to it.
