Wal-Mart layaway for Black Friday Prices and other tips

I think you will have a hard time finding the same items. They usually keep them hidden in the back or not available until BF

i do not think walmart wants people to put stuff on layaway and then buy it on black friday because it does not help them, they want you to come in the store line up outside to generate alot of hype and while you are in the store buy other stuff as well

You should definitely try it without verifying that the layaway counter will be closed during the door buster times... just go ahead and lose that deposit.

is the vizio tv part of the door buster or after the door buster ?

Keep in mind layaway will be closed until 9am on Friday. Layaway items in Event 3 that begins at 5am on Black Friday 11/23/12 will be the only items eligible and the adjustment must be made in our Layaway department on 11/23/12.

Hmm so it sounds like it may work for the time period when the item is on sale by how I am reading that.

None of what you're asking makes much sense, but regardless, the Vizio is during Event 2 and therefore ineligible to be PM'd Friday in layaway.
