In fact, the deal is not hot. I have been watching this fandf sales several times over the past years. I am hoping that I will get the deal. I passed every time because the deal is not that hot. I compared the prices before I purchased.
For example, Tag Heuer Formula 1 was $699 and $799 at lvmh at that time. Amazon was selling it for $699 and $765. Costco had it for $499

It is automatic and amazon was selling it for $1100-1200 at that time. but lvmh is selling it for $1399 at lvmh

I don't have to pay taxes buying at amazon at that time. I have to pay right now.
Whoever mention this deal is hot is just a joke.

But as always, this deal will get a lot of rep and may be front page.

This doesn't mean it was hot at that time. Tag keep increasing their prices like Omega. In addition, US dollar is depreciating over time. So, it is more expensive right now than it was in previous years. Tag formula 1 was $499 last 2 years ago and it is $700-900 right now.
Omega constellation was $1500 and it is like $4000 right now

all your prices above compare prices for amazon, lvmh, and even costco, but have no mention of pricing during the fandf sale. what was it during the fandf sale? compared to the pricing you mentioned?

I have found that many luxury watches can be found for about 30-40% off msrp from the manufacturer stores. Usually authorized stores owned by the manufacturer have sales every couple of weeks where they advertise 30-40% off msrp. This is true with Movado, TAG, and Rolex.

Some facts regarding the warranty:
Movado will change my battery for me every time it runs out until the day I die. Yeah it is only $5 but still a nice service.
Movado will give me a new leather strap every year for the first 5 years.

Rolex will polish my bracelet within the factory warranty period
Rolex will adjust the timing if it goes off

Those are things you won't get from purchasing a luxury watch on amazon.

To the poster who said Amazon has better deals. The thing you aren't getting with an Amazon watch is a purchase from an authorized dealer, warranty, and servicing of the watch. You also run the risk of purchasing a fake watch. When people are paying $1000+ for watches, there are a lot of people who make good counterfeits. That's why I only buy from authorized dealers, particularly where I can get a manufacturer warranty.
