Before buying your food, tell the cashier you would like to buy a $30 giftcard so "you can use it on this purchase." For us, they usually let you use your free burrito right there on the next purchase of your food. If not, then just use the gift card to purchase your food and come back next time to get the free one!

It is confirmed that the free burrito can be of any type and include guac, extra meat, etc.

Just FYI, for those interested, you can go double or even triple meat, and it's still free. Last time I tried to get free guac, the cashier had a hard time figuring out what to enter, since it still wanted to charge me. I offered to pay up, but the manager came and did an override.
