No its not two weeks old halloween candy - they make you sit on a comfy wooden bench, massage your back, polish your shoes, and give you a freshly made bag of chocolates; made just for you at your local Kmart store and all that for less than a Dollar!!
I thought this was a good deal... just saying, lots more candy, noms...
Yeah, grabbed a few of those, too, thanks. A little over 3 times the price, but also a little over 3 times the size. Decent variety, too.
Ok, so I ordered 5 of the, if I remember correctly, 61 they showed in stock. I got an email at 7:58 this morning that they didn't actually have any. Ok, these things happen. Then I checked my phone, and saw that I had missed a call and voicemail at 7:54 AM. The voicemail asked me to call them, which seemed a bit odd, but I was thinking maybe they could partially fulfill the order, and just needed me to call in to authorize, or something like that. Nope. I called, they said they were out (information I had gotten both from the email and the voicemail already), and asked me to get online, log in, and cancel my order. "That's strange," I said, "can't you cancel the order on your end?" Yes, they can.
I know they didn't kill my puppy or anything, these were minor inconveniences, but how many ways can they inconvenience a customer over one out of stock order?
1. List for sale items that they do not, in fact, have in stock.
2. Call too early in the morning.
3. Leave a vague voicemail message asking the customer to call back, which really shouldn't be necessary.
4. Ask the customer to take the steps to cancel an order that they should have already canceled, because they can not fulfill it.
I haven't heard anything back yet about the caramels at the other Kmart, but I'll be sure to turn my ringer off before I go to bed tonight.
Edit: Just got an email about the other ones stating they can't fulfill the order.
Carry Bars if not purchased can sit on shelf for 1 year thats the snickers bars and everything by register that is around 75c i found 8 month old twix and snickers by register at a store it was hard a brick.
There is 1 year shelf life they say on snickers and twix and other candy bars.
It's like with bread. Stick them in the microwave (sans wrapper!) for ten to fifteen seconds, they soften right up!
