"Get a FREE 2-Entree Plate on a future visit with a qualifying in-store gift card purchase. Take care of your holiday gift shopping and reward yourself with some free food! Who are you buying a Panda Express gift card for?"

doesn't specify how much you must put on the gift card, but at my local panda, it was $25 to get the free 2-entree plate. if you are planning to buy a family feast or other order that exceeds $25, it's a no-brainer to first buy the gift card to get the free combo, then use the gift card to make your meal purchase. the free combo offer is printed out on your receipt, and can only be redeemed on a future visit.

I remember this deal last year. Yeah, the required giftcard amount was $25.

OT/Whine mode: I remember when the panda feast (just a few years ago?) was $21. Then they raised it to $25. And for the past year or 2, it's now $29. At $29, it almost seems better to just buy 2-3 entree meals that add up to $29 and you'd have more food? I don't know.. I wonder what others think.

combo meals have raised in price as well, so i'm not sure it would be more food for the same value, but i definitely remember everything being less expensive not that long ago (that applies to a lot of places actually). i also remember it being called the panda feast as well, but apparently it is called the family feast now... how times have changed look around

Don't forget you can add up to a total of 4 entrees per plate for $1.25 per extra entree. You can also get everything boxed separately.

Basically you purchased gift card worth of $25 and receive the printed coupon for two free meals. Then use that coupon to buy two entree. Right?

I thought step no 2 is not necessary. I thought once you buy a gift card you will receive coupon for future purchase. According to your steps, you have to make a purchase from that gift then you will receive coupon.

You can use the gift card anytime you want to. But most people go to Panda Express to purchase food so it kind of makes sense to go ahead and purchase food with it unless you are really planning to give it away as a gift card.

i'm not sure, but i think the gift card deal is going on until xmas, or thereabouts... that's what i recall from last year anyway. and no, there is no need to take any print out. when you go to panda, you should see this deal well advertised in the store.
