Anyone have any idea where to find a cheap pair of rti4? or rtia 1? I have the rti12 and csi a6 and the BIC F12 atm and I need a rear. Not sure if I should just scrimp on the rear since I mostly listen to music and watch movies when I have friends over.

One thing you can do if you are trying to keep out of pocket expense down building a new setup is use this set as a center channel and a rear surround in a 6.1 setup. I've done this in the past with a different set of bookshelf speakers. One Monitor40 has the same 5.25" woofer and 1" tweeter as the Polk CS1 Center. The 40 is only a couple of inches shorter than the CS1, but has the same layout as a center....tweeter in the middle of two woofers. Use the other 40 as the rear surround for 6.1.
can I use them with some class t amplifier. I want to use them as a computer speaker.
Will I really need a sub if I use them like computer speakers ?
I currently have my HT setup with a PSW505 sub, a CS1 center speaker, and a pair of Sony SS-F6000 floorstanding speakers.
Should I get rid of the Sony speakers and replace them with these bookshelf speakers? I have seen many people mentioned about a setup with a sub + bookshelf speakers. For use of the HT, I listen to music most of the time (all kinds..rock, pop, dubstep, blue, classical, etc.) so not sure which setup is best.
Also how are these speakers compared to the Klipsch RB-41 ones?
I got my speakers from newegg today but the box came in opened. Did anyone have the same problem?
Does anyone know whether any cable or accessories come along with the speakers? I'm wondering whether I should return the speakers and ask newegg to send a different pair.
