That has nothing to do with the resolution, that video feel has to do with the motion blur feature on most LCD TVs. Turn it off in the settings and it will look normal again. Depending on manufacturer its clear motion or tru motion in the settings. Anything with 120hz or above will have this, its called the soap opera effect.

I don't think I explained it well, that's not the problem at all. Not motion blur either, as someone said. I just don't like the look of it as much, it's more like a lighting thing. It's not lighting, but some things look like they have crappy, cheap tv show lighting. Sometimes. It's not all awful or anything, but I do love the picture our on panny plasma more than on the full hd lcd. I can't explain this properly, and it doesn't really matter, but 720p isn't the world's greatest evil, lol.

Picture is HD, just not 1080pHD. Although 720p on a plasma IMO looks just as good if not better than 1080p on an LCD/LED. Both my Plasma TVs (just bought this TV yesterday) are 720p and they look better than most 1080p TVs I've seen. That being said, if you want to spend more, a 1080p Plasma looks slightly better, but not worth the $ IMO.

Yeah they need to turn that crap off by default from the factory.
