stupid chinese overrated lumens....i bet this is no more than 300 lm. good price for a T6 though, if it is.

I bought one from ebay that looks exactly like this model. I paid $7.45+ FS.
correct me if I'm wrong if that it isn't the same model. I noticed that the lumens on each model is different. Ebay one is 300lm, while the OP's is 1000lm. But who really knows if that's accurate. Just a heads up.

Btw, the 18650 are rechargable lithium ion batteries. When placed in a flash light that has a regular battery (i.e regular duracell), it usually makes the flashlight brighter. Flash light gurus swear by them

Not your everyday battery, is it?

If you want a powerful and compact flashlight, an AA won't cut it (for more than a few minutes, anyway ) The 18650 type battery is one solution.

The CREE T6's max output lumens is 975 lumens at 3000mA, so in such case, the rated value 1000 lumens make sense.
Of course, you can not expect just use a low voltage to expect a high output brightness.

I don't need any more flashlights, but this is tempting.

They reuse the tube but the modules are just always the different part.

This the bigger version of the Sipik SK68 - the one that has been going for $5 at amazon in that thread here.


They call this the Sipik SK98. Although its from meritline so its a cheap Generic.

I got a different one of these off Meritline and although it took a month and a half to receive, it's an amazing flashlight for the 12 dollars I spent on it. Super bright, and the UltraFire 18650 batteries I have last a pretty long time. My brother has a Fenix flashlight he bought for $80 and this is just as bright, if not brighter than his.

Yes, it may not be the "super quality" flashlights that enthusiasts are looking for, but man was I happy I had it after hurricane Sandy took out my power for a week. This is a must have for homes. I'm thinking about grabbing another one as a backup now.
