Sounds like you have a problematic router. I've been using an OBi100 for a long time and I've never had to reset my router (WRT54GS). Also, my router (like many) has port priority, so all I had to do was set the OBi's port to the highest priority and it never has to share the bandwidth with any other device. (You can often use MAC or IP Address priority too, depending on your router.) I can absolutely saturate my Internet connection in both directions, and the OBi works flawlessly. As you stated, the OBi202 eliminates router issues & limitations (and I would assume that we'll eventually see an OBi200 that will replace the OBi100).

This is something that I think most people don't understand. If you're going to use one of the older OBi devices or any network VoIP adapter, you need to use a router that can prioritize the traffic (and actually configure it to do so). If you don't, you'll wind up being unhappy with the quality when you saturate your Internet bandwidth. If your current router doesn't support prioritizing traffic, check to see if it's supported by DD-WRT or one of the other alternative router operating systems. If so, you can upgrade it to support traffic priority.

This is the same basic reason that the original MagicJack had so many people saying it was junk, except in that case it was traffic within the computer that needed to be prioritized (as well as at the router). I've known people that struggled with this, where the voice quality was great until they started using their web browser. If you're one of these people and you're not ready to make the leap to a network-based voice device, check out a program called NetBalancer Free. It allows you to prioritize network traffic within your computer. (There are other alternatives too, that's just the one I remember off the top of my head.)
