You were answering a question asking you to compare them to Chucks, so it's understandable that you didn't specify, but while reading shoe reviews, I often see people compare shoe size to their chucks without specifying and I'm sure it messes a lot of people up. I often see people say they followed the advice of reviews and ordered a size up, only to find that they're huge when they receive them.

These shoes are never $60+ anywhere lol these sites kill me with their listed MSRP.

I was referring to what most would consider true size. The question was a two part question. I answered the first. I don't have any "Chuck" experience other than people saying they run 1/2 size larger.

Well, that's interesting, because I ordered a half size smaller then my usual size and they fit perfect. I also researched them before ordering and got it right the first time. I order 1-1.5 sizes smaller with Chucks.

But one thing I've noticed with old-school canvas shoes is that people go up and down in size all over the place to find the right size. Ask 5 people who all wear the same size shoe and they'll wear 4 different sizes in Chucks.
