Eastbay has Nike Elite Basketball Socks 3 for $29.99, shipped free.

http://www.eastbay.com/product/mo...elitesocks

It is hard to find these under $14, much less with free shipping, much less in colors that you may want. There are a lot of colors and sizes available.

Don't forget cash back.

Peace.

My nephew swears by these socks. My understanding is that it is extra padded in certain areas for more comfort. I dont know though, I wear the Russell socks that I get from Costco and it was selling for $12 for 12 pairs. They are pretty think and comfy to me.

I almost bought these for basketball but didn't. Thanks for talking sense into me, SD!

Here's an awesome trick I learned online: Wear dress socks and regular socks at the same time to play basketball. It prevents my foot from getting blisters & calluses.
Lol. I think you made the right decision by not buying.

If you had to learn that "awesome trick" online then you are definitely not a baller/athlete. Guys have been wearing two pairs of socks for decades to prevent blisters. Old school knowledge.

Some of you may already know but cotton doesn't absorb sweat and chafes against your foot causing blisters.

These socks are made of synthetic materials: polyester, nylon. They wicks away sweat. Just about any brand will do. There is no magic with Nike ones.

Thanks, I just bought 3 pairs! If they have more on cyber Monday I will pick some more up.

Nike makes really good socks. I wear them to play soccer and football games all the time [Adidas makes great socks as well for Soccer]. From Wal-Mart cotton socks to high quality Nike socks there is a huge differences. Lets put it this way, you pay for what you get and this is one of them.

Definitely a deal for Elite's. Body Glove brand crew socks from the local TJ Maxx are great too tho.

Coming from someone that actually sells this product and owns quite a few of them. This is an awesome deal for the regular consumer.

I have tried numerous sport specific socks from all brands and these by far these are in the top 3 of best socks for basketball in terms of comfort and durability.

Just to clarify the deal is for the original Nike Elite Basketball socks that retail for $14. The Elite 2.0 Basketball Socks retail for $15 and have no other added feature in terms of comfort, they just have an extra style in the back of the sock.

I don't get it, but these socks are the THING for middle and high school kids around here. They are literally the only thing my son wants for Christmas. Thanks OP and repped!

You could buy one pair for $9.99 if you want to try them out from zappos, but only size XL (12-15)
