I think this keyboard was $25 or so last year or beginning of this year with Staples coupons. I didn't jump on it because at the time I didn't see the "need" for one. But damn was I wrong, I want one now just because it's a backlit WHITE keyboard. None of that green crappy looking MW3 Razer keyboards. Anyways, I might just jump on it since many SDers are posting positive reviews on this. But on the contrary, it's refurbished and I'm kind of skeptical. So can someone shed some light on Meritline's refurbished products?

OK price, great keyboard. my only problem with it is there is an FN key instead of the right click keyboard button. besides that amazing keyboard.
old staples deal was much better obviously but i have no problems with refubished and i just broke mine (spilled) last week so this is convenient. |

This is crazy. Everyone is talking about how great this keyboard is, and I agree! It's amazing. Your right, it is probably my favorite keyboard I have owned as well. But I had to sell it. What's up with the ghosting?! Do none of you play fps shooters? This keyboard is flawed and it sucks. WTF Logitech?
You can't play your best on Battlefield 3 when your keyboard isn't registering all your key strokes. The logitech had to go. What a stupid flaw. Have the Razer Black Widow now.. noisy but accurate. Sweet! Not a Razer fan boy tho. Rolling the G700 Mouse and Logitech G930 Head Set. Would have kept this keyboard if it wasn't for the ghosting. In conclusion... if you don't game, no problems! |

I was very happy with this keyboard, and I still keep it around as a backup.
It has GREAT aesthetics; by far the sexiest looking keyboard I have ever owned. Gets lots of compliments. The backlight is nice, and I really enjoyed the low-profile keys once I got used to them. As a warning to gamers, however: some people report issues of GHOSTING with this keyboard. Some versions cannot do common gaming button combinations, such as W+Shift+Space (in some games that would be forward, sprint, and jump by default, kind of important!). I have fairly odd customized controls, so it wasn't an issue for me and I never ran into a problem. But if you're getting this keyboard for gaming and typically use a default-ish setup, make sure you do some research first! It makes a pretty nice travel keyboard if you take off the wrist rest. Very small footprint for a full-size keyboard. It actually fits easily into my laptop bag (though it is a large bag designed for a 17" laptop). Last edited by prankies; 11-17-2012 at 01:09 AM.. |
