oh my bad, a lot of them are bf deals, and dont count amazon out yet, the thing is they are an online company, so they can change it up at anytime. and remember post bf deals...i remember a great deal almost everyday after black friday.

Depends if you are a die hard Nintendo fan and as a slickdealer whether you can flip your preorder for a few hundred more . I see this as being most popular in the Nintendo franchise niche fan boy crowd - the Mario, Zelda, etc exclusive IP in HD (finally) will make those games look like the current generation (1080p HD!), but really will the gameplay change all that much? Has Mario really changed since SMB? Nah, that's what makes Nintendo games Nintendo. The Gamepad is a novelty, just like the WiiFit balance board was a novelty (and also collecting dust), just as the Kinect is a novelty, and just as 3DTV is a novelty. Do I have all these novelties? The point of failure of the Gamepad, and see for yourself, is that is lacks any practicality, and if your player base is your kiddos, forget about it! Why would you give them a $150 gamepad to break (remember those Wii mote tragedies?), mark my words there will be plenty of gamepad screen tragedies in the next few weeks. The function (my previous post), and now the ergonomics after feeling it in hand stink (adult hands barely reach the button spread), and I hear from review that the thing is a massive power sink as well... the Wii U is perhaps the Wii's worse peripheral. It's as if the Wii got bumped to HD and a new peripheral is going to be launched. Aside from the Nintendo IP reboot, there's really no next gen application to the Wii U... I mean Mass Effect 3 trilogy? Welcome to six years ago. I would probably get the console only without the gamepad so my kids can play the HD WiiU games and their old Wii games (which ideally this would upconvert beautifully but I doubt it since the core textures in the old games are low res to begin with), and skip the Gamepad peripheral that is driving the price of this console to $350. I bet the base is in $100-150 range 32 GB or 8GB... I mean get a you can get a 32 SDHC card for $10... nuff of me ranting, go feel that thing at a store and I think you'll see what I mean.
