So the 8PM Black Friday really bugs me...

Im 18 Years old and love spending Thanksgiving at home and then going with my mom to Black Friday deals at midnight to 5am.

Now my mom and I have to decide whether to go to the 8PM Black Friday or wait til midnight and all the best stuff is gone making is irrelevant to go.

Thanks alot stores, you want to make money so bad, you ruin holidays.

These new opening times really do stink.

Thanksgiving dinner will become Thanksgiving breakfast so people can go get in line.

The 6am Friday openings were for the serious people who got in line at 3 am (which I did several years ago and was 15th in line). The last few years I drive home from Thanksgiving dinner and see a long line - people with couches and tv's..........

One line has already started at Best Buy EL CAJON, Calif.

We shouldnt have to. We should be able to just eat Thanksgiving Dinner at a time WE decide, spend time with family, relax for a couple hours and then go to Black Friday at Midnight or 5 am

Last Year was PERFECT! I even had time to take a nap and still be 4th in Line at Best Buy.

Oh yeah? The stores weren't making a profit on the schmucks standing outside in (in some place) the cold for 4 hours? You know there's no benefit to them starting at 8PM the night before, you know all it's going to do is cut down on that line. So why would they do it? To separate the casual shoppers from the crazed and the lonely?

I understand its not a right but if we want to go shopping we should have to skip a holiday that is meant to be with the family in order to do something we have been wanting to do ALL YEAR.
