check out the reviews, a lot of people are complaining that the pieces are WAY too small and aren't the original size; even too small for older kids to enjoy.

It's $12.00 at Walmart.com as well - most likely the reason for the PD on Amazon. Looking at the reviews, I have to pass. Thanks anyways OP, still a good deal vs MSRP, but it sounds like it is a micro version of the good old standard pieces.

I'm deployed and I bought one. Good boredom buster for when I'm in the barracks!

I bought them 3 years ago and they are too small. Neither the kids or the adults could build anything with them.

Got it last time. Big tub. But only 2-3 small bags of parts. These are the small size parts and I dont think they interlock with the regular KNEX (although I think converters exist to connect the different sizes). Very unimpressive when you open the tub. I would recommend at least 2 kits to build any thing (maybe 3). This is best used as an add-on to an existing collection.
