However I just got an email this morning rejecting it since it wasn't the exact config. I'm sort of screwed because like you said if I saw another exact config I'd buy another.

They were quick to respond and it's still possible because they also said:

It's so dumb, I proved my coupon was valid with the screenshot and should apply to other outlet items. I'm probably going to call them up after I have some coffee. I'll emphasize that I'm a former Dell customer and they will easily refund up to 10% automatically, I've done it on 4 or 5 Dell computers.

No dice for me. Called Lenovo Post Sales Support and they said coupons cannot be applied to previously placed orders.

I got the coupon for signing up to lenovo.com. Click Email Signup at the top and they'll send you a 10% off coupon to your email.

The terms of the coupon clearly say you cannot apply it to previously placed orders nor can they be applied to outlet store orders. So I didn't push the issue with the CSR.

well I have it in writing so I'll keep pushing if they want a loyal customer and some good PR. Even without coupon it's a crazy good deal and it actually shipped out on time.

The system should automatically switch to the 630M whenever it needs an extra boost in graphics. Primarily using the HD 4000 will save a lot of battery power. You can manually designate certain programs to always run with the 630M by going to the Nvidia control panel>Manage 3D settings>Program settings.

First thing I did was burn a copy of the factory default recovery discs since they're not included. Took 3 DVDs and about an hour.

Wife wants me to install Windows 8 (b/c it's pretty) so that's up next . Only $15 so why not.
