Only major advantage the Dell has is the SSD. Everything else is a non-issue to me. I don't need all those extra thrills that drive up the price.
In terms of reliability, build quality, customer service, looks, etc... Lenovo wins.
I mean sure, in terms of dollar to dollar value, they are pretty much equal. Difference is it's very hard to find a new machine of this power for under $500. I've been looking furiously.
Difference is $388 for me btw, not sure how you came to $300.
Don't disagree. I probably would have bought the Lenovo had I not bought the Dell first (or been able to return the Dell gift cards!) and the Lenovo had still been available (they disappeared so fast). But just making the point you did which is that dollar for dollar value is equal.
Just bought a lenovo i5 3rd generation with 8 gb z580 yesteraday for 479. But now scared of the n speed problems with wifi that someone of SD said lenovo is having. Anyone here more about these problems
