I wasn't sure if it would work since it seems to be a Canadian deal, but I was able to transfer the funds to my existing Starbucks card & it gave me $5.09!

To transfer to an existing (already-registered) Starbucks card - after you redeem the code through your email & they give you the 16-digit code & PIN # go here & login with your existing card: https://www.starbucks.com/account/card/transfer
