Just got one and came here to post. Guess I am slow. It has been in my Amazon cart for quite some time and got the note when I checked in. Good price, but mixed reviews.

I was so mad that I couldn't get the $80 3TB externals from Staples or Office Depot earlier in the year. I was hesitant at the $100 drive from earlier today.. I think I'll get three of these 3TB drives at $10 cheaper per drive.
The good news is now I have no excuse not to build my two spare computers. I can put in a small OS hard drive and a larger 1tb or 1.5tb hard drive for storage and sell on craigslist. Last edited by RUsum1; 11-17-2012 at 04:11 PM.. Looking for deals on the following:

Tempting as usual.
I have a used 3TB seagate that is loud, but has been solid so far. $90 isn't bad if you can put the drive through it's paces to see if it dies in the first 72 hours. |
