Firefly: The Complete Series (Blu-ray) $13

Damn, I should have waited for Amazon to price match. I paid sales tax to Best Buy for nothing. I checked the order status at Best Buy and it says I can't cancel my order now.

Amazon should NEVER cave in to the State's Governors in regards to the sale tax issue. I ALWAYS was patient in the past waiting for my AMZ packages delivery (prime or not). But now with the sale tax collected where I live, if I have a choice (as in being able to pick up the item elsewhere sold at a local retail B&M store sooner than AMZ delivery timeframe), I always pick the local stores.

I ordered from Amazon. 90% of the time I get a deal at Best Buy it is a big hassle. One time I bought 4 Blu-rays that were marked with the sale price on the SHELF! It took them 20 minutes to verify that price! Three trips to the Blu-ray section by the sale people and a 4th by the manager. That is the typical visit to Best Buy for me. Amazon on the other hand has refunded money to me for a refused package they hadn't even received yet!

Our tax collection doesn't start until the end of next year (they shouldn't have to play since that was the deal our Governor made with them to get them in TN), but I still plan to buy from them as long as they continue their good customer service and pricing.

Man, I'm now psyched to wait for that $9.99 price on Amazon for Black Friday. That may be my #1 purchase on Black Friday if a great laptop deal doesn't present itself.

I've had to pay sales tax at Amazon for a decade now due to one of their warehouses operating in my area. Technically everyone is supposed to report online\mail order purchases where tax was not collected on your annual state tax return whether or not it was forcibly collected or not. Not all states have a sales tax or they have rules that exempt certain products like clothing from sales tax (and everything else fair game). If you were not checking that online\mail order purchase box on the tax form (if applicable) and calculating taxes owed out, you were cheating your state government if you live in a state that charges sales tax.

Curious question... If this Firefly pack include "Serenity (Part 1 & 2)" like it says in the description why does Amazon helper say that people often bought the separate "Serenity" blu-ray combo pack along with this pack if it is already included. Not sure if I need to buy both as a "complete" gift for the series or is it all inclusive like it really sounds?

Serenity Parts 1 & 2 was the title of the two hour pilot episode. It's not the movie.
