FYI: In the Galaxy tab 7" the camera will not "Auto focus " especially when you try to scan upc barcodes. And also if you hold the left lower corner, as any right handed person would do, it will drastically drop the WiFi signal. So, get used to holding it upside down for most of the time. Otherwise a good tabby.

I have both the Galaxy and Nexus. The Nexus has several issues: bootup time and the endless looping issue.
The Galaxy has the expandable SD memory slot, cameras, and it's better sound. The CPU may be a little slower but not too much compared to the Nexus.
Thanks for that.I'm on the fence between these two. I really want a microSDHC for video etc. but the Nexus screen is so nice. I looked at them side-by-side and I didn't think the Galaxy was to different for reading (primary use.)
BTW, yeesh, can you any more speak for yourself than "I have both and..."? I think that is *exactly* speaking for yourself.
That's the Samsung Galaxy. The auto-focus thing is crappy but then a wifi only tab is of limited use scanning bar codes (you need data connection to lookup the product.) The Nexus doesn't have a bak camera.
