How do I make the icons bigger?
I'll admit I'm an adroid noob. I have a blackberry that work provides and don't have a personal phone so I'm new to all this. I got one for my kids and was able to get google play/android market installed and several games and apps installed just fine (for those wondering about ebooks Aldiko seems to do the job for what I wanted). However all the icons are about the size of my pinky fingernail. I've tried a few different launchers, check a few boxes for big icons, adjusted the number of columns and rows but I can't seem to get big icons. Any tips would be appreciated. Thanks |

Finally got around to making sure everything worked ok on this device. All is well except the camera is messed up. It sees the image but the colors are green and yellowish and its all messed up. Tried to refresh system to factory defaults, but that didnt help either.
Oh well, kids probably wont be using camera for much. |

Do people ever make custom roms for these types of 1-off tablets, or are you pretty much stuck with the OS that comes with it? This is my first Android based tablet, but I have a few friends with Touchpads running Jelly bean.

I installed Chrome but like everyone else says, Chrome does not work on this tab. I did install LauncherPro, that I used on my phone, and it works fine. I still need to tweak the settings. I'm not sure if I'll keep it or not. Probably play with it a couple more weeks and then decide. -CL |

Also there are apps that will password protect Google Play and any other application you don't want opened without permission. |
