Matching the quality of a 25-40 GB disc with a 2-3 GB file isn't really possible. Sure you can compress, but you're always going to sacrifice quality to do so, and enough people want lossless (or as close to it as a bluray can get) to prevent blurays from going anywhere anytime soon.

But, if this was your interest, itunes recently had all the Bond movies in HD for $10, when the set originally released. Missed that boat though.

There are a lot of movies out there that Streaming or Blu-Ray just wont make a difference. Watching Wild Hogs on blu-ray over streaming will not make that movie any better.... The Shawshank Redemption, or any movie that Roger Deakins has been a part of, a must on blu-ray. It's all about being selective in your blu-ray choice. Because physical media is going away, but like *rising said, The bandwidth just isn't there yet to have blu-ray quality over broadband.

First time posting deal. Was ordering this as a Xmas gift and noticed the price drop to $129.99.

FYI, was $149.99 as of last week @ amazon and Best Buy.

Yes but it would be year 51 next year when skyfall comes out. So since this year is Bond 50(th anniversary) next year the Box set would be Bond 51(st anniversary).

When was lost $100? Lowest I remember is $125 for blu.

As it is the deal of the day I assume it's discount by a lot more than 10%.My guess: 25% discount.
